Lower Aysgarth Falls is where the River Ure begins to show its real character, spilling over a series of broad steps in a constant rush of white water and spray. In this image, the falls feel both powerful and structured at the same time – water threading through the layered rock, shaped over thousands of years into these natural terraces.
